What Do High-End Programs Get Me?
What you’re generally paying for with a high-end program are the licensing fees for the questions. In order to have access to more exams, use the course for a longer time, and be able to view each question more than a few times, the course needs to pay high licensing fees to the LSAC (the organization that designs and administers the LSAT). Another big cost that may get passed onto you is the overhead of the testing company, which may be renting expensive offices in big cities in order to appear more prestigious. This doesn’t actually improve their course, but you still pay for it.
Higher cost programs don’t generally include information about how to succeed once you’ve actually started law school. While courses that cover this are available, they are expensive and generally don’t cover anything about the LSAT.
