Types of LSAT Programs

There are 4 major types of LSAT courses available:

  1. Online - These offer explanations to the LSAT questions in a similar manner to our course, but generally cost significantly more. They also don't have the author of each explanation available to explain it further without charging extra, if at all.
  2. Books - Some of these keep their price low in the same way we do by offering just the explanations, and require you to buy the official book of questions separately. Once published, though, it’s published—if you don’t follow a particular explanation, too bad. The more expensive books are often massive tomes that overwhelm you with every tiny detail imaginable to justify the price of the book.
  3. Live courses - We've had experience with live courses, and found that students mostly end up studying the material on their own. A live course usually ends up being an expensive, boring vacation. It's just not possible to cram the amount of learning that you need into a few lectures. Some courses just wheel in a TV and show you some DVDs, so you might as well watch at home.
  4. Personal Tutoring - Most likely, you’re reading this because you do not have the time or the money for personal tutoring. If you try to limit costs by paying for shorter sessions, you’ll still spend more and learn less than you will with PatBar.

Our course gives you every advantage: extensive written and video explanations, personalized help, and real questions and explanations to study. You go at your own pace, and actually learn the material instead of just memorizing without understanding.

In addition, we offer what no other LSAT course does: you get to practice doing what you will be doing in law school, and you get expert help in teaching you to succeed.
