Why So Cheap?

The main reason PatBar can offer such a low price is something you'll learn about in law school called the First Sale Doctrine.

The LSAC (the company that produces and administers the LSAT) charges high licensing fees for LSAT courses to use the questions in the course. They also impose strict technological requirements (like copy protection), limit the number of times a course is allowed to show each question to a student, and specify how long you can have access to the course. They also charge a great deal if you're licensing the questions to publish in your own book along with explanations. All of these factors contribute to a much higher price for most courses.

What we do differently is that we don't actually include the prior questions in our course. Instead, we mail you a book of the questions published by the LSAC and purchased on Amazon. The First Sale Doctrine makes it legal for anyone to re-sell a book they've bought, and the author and publisher have no say over the price or licensing of the re-sold book. This means that we don't have to pay any licensing fees over and above the cost of purchasing the book.

You can also use a coupon code to buy our course without the book included and purchase it yourself from Amazon or another source. This would also be useful if you already have the book.
